Frequently asked questions
How does storage work?
Storage is the total size of all files you've uploaded to Granted Assets. It doesn't matter how many products or orders you have — only the files you store count against your limit.
What happens if I run out of storage?
You'll be notified and prompted to upgrade before anything stops working. Existing downloads remain accessible to customers who have already purchased.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades are handled through Shopify's billing system — contact support if you have questions about timing.
What file types are supported?
Any file type — PDFs, images, audio, video, ZIP archives, software, Lightroom presets, fonts, templates, and more.
How are download links delivered to customers?
Granted Assets automatically sends a dedicated download email as soon as the order is created. On Starter and above, download links can also appear on Shopify's Thank You and Order Status pages.
Is billing handled through Shopify?
Yes. All charges run through Shopify's billing system — no separate account or credit card needed.
